Using Upik

Upik shows how busy venues in Potchefstroom are, based on reports from people who are there. You need to be old enough to enter the venues you look up, and you must follow each venue's own rules and South African law while using the app.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Give us a real email address so we can reach you about your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time from the support page.

What you post

Crowd reports, check-ins, party listings, photos and captions are yours — you keep them, and you give us permission to show them inside Upik. Don't post anything false, hateful, harassing, illegal or that isn't yours to share. We may hide or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Venue listings

Venue owners and managers who claim a listing are responsible for the accuracy of their hours, specials, events and prices. Listings can be suspended if the information is misleading.

No guarantees

Crowd levels, specials and events are community-reported and change fast. Upik is provided as is — we can't guarantee a venue will be as busy, as open or as cheap as the app suggests. Always check with the venue for anything that matters.
